Out for a Spin and a Trip to the Vets
It was much cooler today. Sierra seemed more herself. Her leg was feeling better, so I got her back in her wheelchair for another spin.
She seemed happy to be outside in the cool breeze. The heat had yet to envelope us.
Once again, the orange cat was sleeping under our bush. What’s funny is Sierra never saw it. I suspect she knew it was there. She kept sniffing the air, but concentrated on other things like the grass and the telephone.
At one point the neighbor went by without his dog on leash (I wish he wouldn’t do that). After a little coaxing, the puppy ran right by us. Sierra was aware, but she didn’t seem interested. Maybe she is getting used to it’s scent.
After we were done, I got a call back from the Vets. We discuss different things to do for Sierra to help her with her arthritis pain. The Vet decided that Tramodol would be the best choice for Sierra. Unfortunately, Tramadol is not chewable
Why don’t they make all animal drugs tasty and chewable? It would be alot easier! Sierra will be happy. She’ll get peanut butter everyday. That’s her favorite.
I picked up the prescription and dropped off some photos for the staff. They wanted to show off Sierra’s wheelchair, so now she’ll be up on the bulletin board for all to see.
