First Day on Two Tramadol

Author: I’ve been taking the slow approach to Sierra’s new medication, Tramadol. After she threw up on the first day, I decided to not to push it. I also want to give her the smallest dose necessary to manage her pain. One pill doesn’t seem to be doing much, so today it’s two. This is lower than the 1 1/2 twice a day that the veterinarian recommended.
The only side effect I’ve noticed so far is she seems to be more tired tonight. I’ve heard that Tramadol can cause sleepiness. I’ll have to keep an eye on it.
At least, she enjoys getting her peanut butter does 
She smells it long before I even get the medication out.

Peanut butter- ha! That doesn’t fool me. The woman tried everything with my tablets and I just refused. I am a free spirit and will not be coerced although one day a teaspoon of sardine oil had some suspicious powder floating on it and I wonder now if she managed to slip something by me.
